Exhuming the crematory urns shouldn't be any problem. Contact the cemetery in which they are buried for instructions. You will need to prove your relationship and possibly sign paperwork to release the cemetery of any liability.

You could probably do anything you wanted with the cremation urns if you treated them as personal property as you moved to Ireland. This is a case of "if you don't say anything, nobody's going to get upset". Although it seems as if it would be disrespectful, if you seal the urns and put them in a FedEx box and ship them to yourself in Ireland from the USA, they'll get there just fine.

If you are planning on reburying them in Ireland, you will likely need to get permission from the parish in which you will be residing.
You should take along both death certificates.

Is their last wish? Or are you feeling like it needs to be done? I'm sure they wouldn't get upset at you when you see them in the next after life.

Sure. It will take an order from the county in which they are buried.
