i wondering wat dog is a better pet either a chiwwa or a pamiranian?

Let me say that I have 4 dogs and two of them are chihuahua's. We got them when they were puppies and they are not the toy ones, they are full size ones which is about 5 inches tall and about 5 or 6 pounds.
I love them to death, but like somebody else said, they bark at the wind blowing or my son walking out of his bedroom at night to go to the bathroom.
They are very loyal dogs and will give you alot of attention. I would suggest that you get two from the same litter if possible. There is something about our two that came from the same litter and they get along so good and they keep themselves occupied when we don't have time to play with them. They are almost 2 years old now and they still play around and chase each other and all.
They aren't very hard to clean up after and only need their nails trimmed every couple of weeks or so. Don't worry about spelling the breed as it is not an easy word to spell.

I think the Pomeranians are much better. They are sturdier, and have less emotional and nervous problems. They are happier dogs and have fewer health problems. Go to www.akc.org and do some reading, also there are Pomeranian clubs and Chihuahua clubs that have information on their breeds. There are web rings for both breeds that many breeders are listed in your area, for asking them questions you may have.

Before I get my chihuahua, I was tied up choosing chihuahuas, or pomerianian. Both do equally fine, equally barkish(if not well trained). Good watch dogs, I chose chihuahua in the end cos of the fur and grooming, perhap i wanna lessen my hassle of handling the butt fur when it pees and pass motion.

And when comes to seasonal shedding, pomerianian could be a hassle compare to chihuahua if that is one of your concern too.

Personally, I prefer a Pomeranian to any other little breed dog.A Yorkshire Terrier would be my second pick If I were to ever get a
chihuahua it be one of the long haired ones. I just like the longer haired dogs in general.
Oh and Rach is correct about the grooming of Poms,especially the hair around their poop shoots. They tend to get poo tagled in them if you don't keep it well trimmed in that particular area.

Neither.
A POMERANIAN needs too much grooming, can't deal with housebreaking problems, too many health problems, too girly, not active enough for me, the fact that they're not good with kids is terrible, separation anxiety would annoy me and I couldn't deal with the yap yap yap all day.

A CHIHUAHUA...sorry I don't know where to start with reasons why I wouldn't buy a CHIHUAHUA. There are just too many.

Chiwawas are mean little fellows that like to play rough, but they're so cute! I'm a boy, I don't care if I say something's cute lol. Pamiranians are nice little shy fuzzy things. So really it's up to which personality you like? playful or shy

i dont know about the pamiranian, but the chiwawa is sooooo annoying, they bark at completely anything and everything. Ull get a headache after the first 2 days. Save urself the trouble

It really depends they are both lap dogs but Pomeranians need a lot more grooming

I like both breeds, they both are real sweet, but if there are children involved, then I would go for the chihuahua they are awful sweet.
