First of all I am quite stunned that Fedor is fighting for Bodog, I think this will be a cool match. I am 99.9% sure Fedor will win unless Jeff Monson gets some miracle from god. This will show what a true PRIDE champion is capable of :). March 3rd people!

Sorry arrogant your right, I have seen many of Jeff Monsons fights and I give credit where it deserves. He is a tough fighter (above average) but I think he has little to no chance against fedor. That said I think 99.9% of MMA fighters don't have a chance against fedor so I am not trying to belittle Jeff Monson. They are both great MMA fighters and the fight will be awsome :)

Not that I can afford the Pay-Per-View event you're clearly trying to sell us (you evil shill you), but you had me at "see Fedor fight."
Seriously. Anyone who looks as ordinary as Fedor does (think, chubby middle-aged fella), and can still *hang in there* against all the muscle-heads deserves all the Kudos and Respect you can give. Really, if people can accuse you of "looking like Santa Claus" and you still have a winning record, that says something.
It says you have Skills. Seriously. :)
Of course, I have to admit to some bias here, as I've heard Fedor is a serious Russian Sambo stylist (think old-school Judo, minus the chokeholds, but add leglocks and heavy-duty Russian wrestling), and I rather like the style too.
But still, it sounds like fun...even if I have to pass myself. Sorry.

Yes and no. I would rather see Monson go over to Pride to challenge Fedor, than both fighters go over to Bodog. I think Fedor will be too much for Monson to handle. He's faster, a much better striker and will be able to escape/reverse and submission attempts the Snowman will throw at him. Fedor will knock him out cold in the first round.

Fedor is gonna make monson his b.tch! The only reason Fedor took this fight is because he wants to fight in front of his own countrymen and try to make MMA more popular in Russia. But seriously this fight is a joke. Fedor signed another 1 fight deal with pride but I trust me we will see Fedor in the UFC in 2007/2008

Yeah, this should be a good fight. I think Fedor will be the better striker, but they have good ground skills. I think Monson might be the better ground fighter.

Monson couldn't beat Tim Silvia and can't beat Fedor. I don't think Silvia could beat Fedor either.
