Certainly NOT overweight! You may feel bigger at this age but it is only because your body is preparing you for puberty as you start to grow differently. Since you are athletic, I'm sure you have a lot of muscle which weighs more than fat. When I was 11-12 I was 120 pounds and just barely five feet tall. I remember well because I was a lot heavier than my classmates and very embarassed and self conscious. The summer after 6th grade I went through a dramatic growth spurt of four inches and didnt gain anymore weight. It is very normal to have extra pounds around this age. It is how your body prepares you for future growth and womanhood.

Sweetie, i'm so sorry we reside in a world the place weight and grace are linked collectively negatively. You might be eleven years historic. Too younger to worry about such things, quite. If you want to shed extra pounds, just contine to be energetic as you say you might be doing. Do not go on a weight loss plan, however cut out the empty calories; snacks which are sugary and doughy and chips with all that fats and salt. Stop consuming soda which has a lot of energy too. That must do it for you. As for impressing the boy at school, I also suppose you're too younger for that too. Simply be yourself. Excellent luck.

Okay first off your athletic!!! I have been told my entire life that I weighed more than what I should have been. For example I'm 5'2" and my senior year in highschool I weighed 140lbs. They told me I was over weight!!-- hold up okay? cause doctors are nuts MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT!! I weighed that much cause i did physical training 4 times a week including dancing 20 hours a week, in addition to dance compettions on the weekend which were about 15 hour days of practice. So please you are fine. Thing is if you love bread and u eat a lot of it, try to cut back because it does eventually turn into fat- but vegetables and balanced diet is great- good luck and your perfect.

Well I think you can solve that. You are over weight IF you think that a lot of your weight is body fat. If you think that most of your body is muscle and so is the weight. It sounds to me like you're fine. If you exercise enough and you're in good shape then you are completely fine. In fact I just asked that almost exact same question. I hope I've been helpful.

Here you go sweetie. I calculated your body mass, it's called a BMI. It said you are healthy. My husband is a body builder. Truth of the matter is - muscle weighs more than fat. It sounds like you get lots of exercise so you'll have lots of muscle! Keep up the good work.

No you are not overweight your BMi is 24.7 and this is in the normal BMi range(18.5-24.9). Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. Since you are a child this may be different but check out this site.

well it depends. i think you might be just a little overwieght. but like i said it depends because it might be muscle mass and not fat. I weigh 105 and im 5'6. by my height im suppose to be no less than 120 and if you are 114 and measure 4'9 then i guess dropping 5-10 punds could not hurt.
