Hun, I REALLY don't want to sound like those typical people who give you the same old lame advice. But thinking in YOUR best interest and since I've been in the same position as you I highly encourage you to wait (unless your already not a virgin) take extra precaution. Men don't think with their brains they think with their ***** and sometimes you have to be the brains in the situation. When you stated that its only been 2 months since you to have started going out I'd wait a little longer until the relationship progresses. And although you say you've been friends for about a year being in a relationship is much more difficult, it really is not what it is cut out to be. But I'm proud that your a smart to know that you should always use protection unless trying to conceive. In your position I would wait it out until the relationship is more stable and you know for a fact this is what YOU want, think about the risks and also the benefits but always be smart.

As an 18 yr old you may be at an age where you feel like you know what love is, being in love, etc....but a 13 yr old WOULD NOT. Are you really willing to wait until you're 23 to be able to LEGALLY consummate your relationship?
Believe me, you don't want to go there with a 13 yr old....you are risking your future. If her parents pressed charges you would be known for the rest of your life as a sex offender!!!!

I assume you are either a senior in high school or just out. Presumably she would be in 8th grade. Given the age difference you can't go on real dates with her. You would have to limit your "dates" to daytime and public places, nothing where you would be alone. You do that for the next three years and see if she can date then. 16 would really be the earliest.

Hey matthew, is the 18 year old you? If it is you may think you love this girl but she is very young, its okay to be friends but i wouldnt get romantically involved, im pretty certain that if you had a sexual relationship with this girl you could be doing something illegal and her family might involve the police. She might be mature for her age but i really think you should find a girl who is similar to your own age, your at an age where you are legally allowed to drive, drink go to clubs, etc...do you want to waite 5 years for her to be able to do these things with you?

Sorry, but it is asking for big time trouble--I mean jail time trouble--and you must know that by now. You mention love--how at your ages can you possibly define and recognize love???Even at best a young person will grow up and find other things to do or want to see other people--it just isn't proper at this time. If you have to be friends,keep it all on the up and up...the courts are adament about your age issues.

She is NOT of an age to make appropriate choices and she is too young to be dating. PERIOD.
YOU are not mature enough to handle a chick your own age? Then you don't deserve to be in ANY relationship,
Go get some serious therapy. If I caught you sniffing around my child (and 13 IS a child!), I'd have your fanny in jail so fast you'd be spinning.
Word of advice: don't drop the soap. There's a word for people like you in jail and it starts with B.

I think, either he respects her, from some miracle on earth the parents are okay with it, the guy can't find anyone his own age, that he may be using the girl, or it just really is love.

well thats illegal but if she were 14 then yes but IMO love has no bounds as long as the parents are cool about it and no sexual things go on until shes 18.

Shes ways to young...shes a little girl still...no matter how mature she is. You should at least wait for another couple of yrs.
