There is nothing wrong with being gay. Just like there is nothing wrong with being black, female, Asian, or any other non-white male person. We are all people and we should treat each other with the respect that we want ourselves. The whole gay issue is only a problem because of religion. Religion is evil. It causes hate in this world. I'd like to find some sort of belief but I'm so sickened by all the hate or the supposed, "it's okay to be gay just as long as you don't practice" or "God still loves you" crap. It shouldn't even be an issue. In good time people are going to look back and think that it was absolutely ridiculous that being gay was even an issue. Think about the right for women or people of color to vote. It took hundreds of years for us to be able to vote! How stupid that people would think such crap! We know this to be absurd now so there is no reason to treat gay people any differently. Were all people and should be treated as such. Sometimes things that are foreign to us make us fearful. And as Thoreau said, "to fear is to hate. To love is to accept). How could you disagree? Bottom line: people are people. Get over your insecurities and be confident in yourself. If you're comfortable with yourself then you should have no problem being around other people who may be different than you.

Homosexuality happens in nature all the time. Some theories point towards the mother having many boys ( 2 or 3 ) then the further down the line you go the less testosterone and the more estrogen. Other than that think of it like this....you really can not help who you are attracted to. I can't help the fact that I REALLY am not attracted to Asians. I'm just not. I can do nothing about this. Just like men who like men or women who like women just can't help it. That is just the way it is. The bible tells you its wrong..science tells you it happens and there is no wrong with it. When you break a bone do you pray or go to the doctor? Try science.

Look, I'm a Bisexual Christian. There are a lot of Christians that are like me. If you don't know any, search for Gay protestant Christians on the internet. If you surround yourself with those that pose as Christians who preach another Gospel, or those that just are ignorant about the subject, you will feel alone and remain thinking that you are condemned by your own lack of knowledge.
So trust God, and let the chips fall where they may. There are many kinds of Christians, but there is only one way to God, and that is through Jesus the Christ.

My Cathecism teacher had this discussion with us before. God doesn't reject gay people, people who read the bible and don't understand it as they should do. Being gay or bi or anything doesn't affect one's relationship with God, didn't he put you on Earth the way he wanted you to be? God loves everyone, even if they don't love him back or do bad things. Homosexuality isn't bad, it's just different from what everyone else is used so it's frowned upon.
True Christians should actually accept gays and lesbians for who they are, not judge them on who they think they should be.

Let's look at your question a different way. Before we move on to examining the cause, the "why," if you will, we have to determine whether your assumption about being gay, that it is "wrong," is correct. If you can define what you mean by "wrong," you might be able to work on the "why" more clearly.

There's nothing wrong with it - but some people follow a book written thousands of years ago that is concerned with maximizing tribe size. Of course, that book also condones genocide, rape and slavery, so it's not really great as a moral compass.

Nothing wrong. I think you're right. Even if you don't like people you have to tolerate people. Tolerence and acceptance are the only way we're going to ever get along! Gay people have the same rights we do. Plus more gay guys = more girls for us. More gay girls = more guys for girls?

there is nothing wrong with being gay. there is nothing wrong with being "wrong" in society's terms. there is no wrong or right, these are subjective judgments, judgments, not truth. you simply have your choice with your feelings whether to let it affect you or not is in your hands. give them love, turn the other cheek, for then will they see what they're doing. don't resist, just turn the other way, away from your prosecutors. you ask where the love is. it's in you, find it, and reveal it, all things shall follow.

Personally, I Don't Think Being Gay Is Wrong.
Anyway to the answer. I guess people think being gay is wrong because the majority of the world is not gay. So because of that they think being Gay is unusual and it sticks out to them.
