OKI, SO WHAT IF YOU BOUGHT A LIGHT BROWN DYE BUT WHEN YOU PUT IT ON, THE COLOR OF IT ON THE GLOVE IS PURPLE!!! WILL THAT MAKE MY HAIR PURPLE!!!!

actually! believe it or not... it's perfect! most broens look purple in the dye form! but when you dye your hair it comes out brown! that's how you know it's decent dye! also make sure you use a 20 or 30 peroxide! those are the ones that least damage your hair and help to keep the color longer! but yes, that is normal! and if it does come out purple it'lll be very very dark and unoticeable... you might even like it! ^_^

Well, my mom dyes her hair alot and i usually watch.. She sometimes has a weird color on her gloves once she is done putting the dye on her hair. but just throw that glove away!!!..lol..get in the shower and wash your hair well!...if it turns purple..it is either the box had a brown hair label on it.. but someone probably accidentally put a purple. i don't know..but if that didn't happen, your hair should turn brown.

I'm sure your Hair will be fine and if it does turn out to be purple you could just re-dye it.

no..it may just be the colour of the dye b4 it acutally starts to work.. when i used to get carmel highlights in my hair the dye would always be a green colour..

NO!!!It's because the pigment is so strong in the color but when you wash it out it's a much different color.

nooo! it wont deposit on your hair that color. and if it does maybe that'll teach u to buy store brand hair color instead of going to a pro.

don't worry, it usually does that. if you are really worried, take a piece from the back and use a wet paper towel to clean it and see what it's doing.

NO.... YOU ARE FINE!!!!!!!! your hair will be FINE!!!! i have used similar dye before & my hair came out brown. don't you fret!
