A LITERAL INTERPRETATION OF Genesis is in conflict with evolution, but an allegorical one is not.

There is nothing in Genesis which stands against evolution. The creation account indicates God brings order out of chaos and that the world is morally good. Those truths match w/ evolution. If you desire to use Gen.2 and the 2nd creation story - pretty much the same holds true. There is no claim Eden is the only "camp" of humanity, it simply is used to illustrate basic truths humans had uncovered.
Gen. 1-11 are deeply dependent on ancient Ugaritic myths from around Ur where Abraham grew up. The Gilgamesh Epic is a prime example which in turn is based on even earlier texts.
I think it is refreshing the Bible has such great truths as evolution w/in its portfolio.

Genesis and Evolution, according to my faith, (Judaism) are actually not in conflict. We believe that Adam and Eve is a myth, a metaphor given to us by G-d. When it is said in Genesis "G-d created the earth in 7 days" He could mean 7 days relative to Him, which is millions of years, since G-d has no concept of time within Him.
Xtianity believes that the Bible is to be taken literally, so Evolution is incorrect. They don't think that maybe the Bible wasn't supposed to be taken literally, word for word, even though their god spoke in parables himself.

What the heck is Genusus? Evolution can't conflict with something that isn't even real, or even believed.

Evolution is a fact (and anybody who says otherwise can't understand it). Genesis conflicts with it - so it's false.

i am a christian and i believe that genesis and evolution click perfectly together
evolution is the how god created the world in 6 days(not 24 hour days but creation phases because god does not have a concept of time it is not important to him)

They are indeed, and that was one of the reasons that I chose science (which is obviously correct -- it works) over the biblical tales. The theory of evolution is now a proven fact.

So you call Gods word a lie.
Evolution is your truth.
Gods word is my truth.
Genesis to Revelations.
I would believe God over any man.

That's just your dumb opinion. Besides, you need to learn how to spell. It's "Genesis".
