I'm a girl and this is what would win me over.
-don't put down the guy or insult him at all. It will make the girl feel defensive and will make you look immature.
-stay far away from the guy. don't become his friend, or she won't dump him for you
-hang out with the girl alone BUT don't make a move on her=respect
-be a great caring guy, getting her thoughtful, INexpensive gifts to show that you're not pressuring her into a romantic relationaship, just encouraging it.
- be sensitive
- don't let her fix you up with someone unless you think that its at the point that she will be made jealous- on this date be very kind to show her what a great boyfriend you'd be
***- best way to win a girl over: be confident not cocky. be a guy she's comfortable being around. DON'T LET HER SEE YOU FLIRT WITH OTHER GIRLS!

Yes, it can happen. Conquered her may be the wrong word, but I did end up sleeping with this girl who was at the time living with the drummer from a well-known rock band... She was drop dead gorgeous, long legs, dirty mouth, all that. All you have to be is everything he's not and not utterly deficient in whatever his good qualities might be.

I guess it worked - she and I have been married 11 years and have two beautiful children. I still can't hold a note or play an instrument, but I compensate for this need of hers by having a luxury box and courtside seats at a big arena so she gets to go to all the concerts, NBA games, etc. Plus, I actually make a really good living (unlike him today), so she gets the huge house, the expense accounts, the new Mercedes, the acting coach, all the stuff he couldn't give her.

Men who don't respect relationship commitments are typically a bad risk... After all.. If it works and you "steal" her from that guy... what would you have done to make her trust that you will respect the commitment the two of you make to one another???

Don't try stealing her from another guy. Don't try "conquering" her... (whatever you mean by that...) Be her friend of be a stranger. There are no other options out there for you at this point in time.

This is a very underhanded question but if you want tips..
Be her friend. Be that shoulder she cries on when he messes up. Listen to her when she speaks. But above all be as good a friend as you possibly can. Treat her as well as you can and say nothing about how you feel. She'll begin to realise what's so great about you and sooner or later when the guy messes up, you'll be next in line. The friendship thing works, even if it doesn't you can never have too many friends right? : )

My brother had a gf and I noticed that I liked her and she liked me as well.
I had to stay away because I did not want to cause a problem.

So, I stopped seeing them together in order to avoid any more contact with her, it was very hard for me because she is really pretty and at the end he wasn't very much in love with her.
