i need my birthcertifcate to get a id i live in tx and she lives in louisiana where i was born and i don't have the time or money to get it online

NOPE. you must get your own documents. same goes for S.S. office. you can't even send your husband or wife to get it.

Your daughter can get your birth certificate. However the following is straight off of the state of Louisiana website:

If the person making this application is not the birth registrant, a parent of the birth registrant, a person having custody of the registerant, or an attorney representing on of them, the application must be accompanied by a formal statement executed by the registrant that authorizes the applicant to act in his/her behalf. If the registrant is deceased and applicant is not one of the persons listed above, the application should be accompanied by a detailed explanation for the request and a statement of relationship to the registrant.

So, as long as she has a statement from you to present, you should be o.k.

Your daughter is authorized to receive your birth certificate from the state of Louisiana

the answer of a statement from you is correct, that statement should be notorized though, that confirms that you are actualy the person writing the statement and your daughter didnt have a friend write it, you may also be able to have that birth record filed where you now live in case this ever happens again

I've purchased some of my ancestors' vital records. All you really need to do is go to the county office and cough up $10 or so for each copy.

YOU CAN DO IT BUT YOU NEED TO GO TO THE OFFICE MORE CLOSE TO PAY THE FEES
