Here's how it was: I woke up at around 1 PM with a feeling like I am gonna throw up. My mom told me that I gotta drink tea with lemon all day long. Well I've done that... I'm up to the 6th cup already. at around 5 PM or earlier I finally ate something--scrumbled eggs that weren't over cooked. After that, I went to sleep at around 8 PM because I felt my head spinning and I was very cold (my teeth were helplessly beating against each other and most of my body was cold). I checked the temp, 99.9 degrees. I drank the 5th cup of tea for the day and went to sleep in a very warm bed.

An hour and a half later, I woke up thinking I got better. I was warm and my head didn't spin as much. Oh, yeah I forgot to mention that I'm 16 and my paren't aren't at home since 5 PM. Anyway, I took the thermometer and measured the temp: 100.8 degrees. I called my Grenny and she said I should it a toste that wasn't so cooked (kind of like dried out white bread) and drink another cup of tea.

It was around 10:20 PM when I finished eating toast and drinking my 6th cup of tea. I check my temp again: 100.9 degrees. Then I came over to the computer and typed this cause my parents don't pick up -- they're in a restaurante.

Other info you need to know probably is that I was jumping and such at my Tae Kwon Do class and my legs hurt. Also, instead of throwing up, I had somewhat a diaria. It feels better now, my head is hot and I'm not cold at all... but the temp is kinda high. If you know what to do, please post. Thank you.

best thing you can do is get LOTS of rest (stay in bed, no excercising) and drink LOTS of fluids. but lay off the tea! your body needs plenty of water right now to bring your temperature down and get rid of the illness, and caffine robs water from your body. drink water or juice, no tea, no caffinated pop. 7-up or sprite is ok.
if your stomach is queasy, try eating a couple of green olives. it sounds wierd but it works, and saltine crackers will help the diarriah.
your fever is best treated by taking a couple of tylenol and going back to bed. if you're uncomfortable, get a bowl of cool water and a wash cloth so you can wipe your forhead and neck, or take a cool bath.
your body will heal itself as long as you take good care of it. if your temperature goes above about 102, you should probably see a doctor. if it goes about 104, you should DEFINITLY go to the hospital.

Any fever below 102 degrees is not dangerously high. Switch to water to drink. Tea has caffeine and acts as a diuretic (removes water from your body).

Your granny is right. Eat bland, soft foods until you feel better. . .and don't forget to drink WATER--one glass per hour if you can. You'll feel better in a day or two.

Paracetamol should help lower your temp, also a cool bath.

If it continues see you Dr as it could be an infection.

Take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you're not allergic to it and take a cool shower or bath.

try some cups of brewed coffee & if you still feel cold.. well i guess you could try to jog around even for 2-3minutes.. maybe that could help to make you warm or hot & have some sweats....
