Bartending is all about thinking outside the box and breaking every standard you can think of. Buy some exotic fruit and blend 'em up. See what you come up with. Use your imagination. Cotton Candy dissolves in alcohol you know. It's really good. I make a Cotton Candy Martini my girlfriend loves. No reason there can't be a Cotton Candy Margarita. Standard Tequila and juice mix but instead of Triple Sec, use Grenadine for colour and flavour. Blend the christ out of all of it with ice. Chill a champagne glass, rim with coloured sugar and float a nice sized chunk of Cotton Candy on top. Give it a try. I just came up with this idea as I was typing. Let your imagination go wild and make something new.

You cannot go wrong with exceptional ingredients * (see note below).
If you are serious about a ridiculously good cocktail start by making your own sweet and sour mix:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Juice of 4 lemons and 4 limes
Boil it all together for about 3-4 minutes
*It's called Simple Syrup (w/ lemon and lime)
Just about any 100% Pure Agave Tequila will do, but spend around $25 for the botlle--it'll all be worth it.
Cointreau (Not Grand Marnier) will round out your drink.
2 parts sour
2 parts tequila
1 part Cointreau
ON THE ROCKS
UNPLUG YOUR BLENDER, IT'S FOR TOURISTS
*unless you're in college or something then mix some cheap tequila with Gatorade and whoop it up.

There's one called "Lime in the coconut Margarita" from a restaurant up here in CT that's de-lish!! It's a regular margarita with a bit of coconut cream added to it with a couple of limes squeezed on top. Sooooo yummy!! serve with a sugary salt rim
It's not so acidic so you don't have to worry about heartburn! =)

Try with fresh limes and lemons instead of store bought sour mix. Also rim the glass with Kosher salt and chill the homemade sour mix ( fresh limes and lemons) before hand.
