They sound fine. Seriously, throw out the Advil and get Tylenol. It's safer. Most vets will tell you though to give baby medicines to animals. For now, just keep a close eye on them. Make sure they drink plenty of fluids. You might be able to contact poison control and ask them. Or heck contacting your vet would be even better (plus just calling is free).

I am sure you've heard about the problem of acetominophen (Tylenol) and liver damage. If you take as little as 5 times the recomended dose of acetominophen you can permanently damage your liver and need an immediate transplant. Alcohol makes this problem worse!

Ibuprofen (advil) is NOT linked to these problems however long term and heavy use of advil can cause gastric bleeding (sometimes severe) and since most heavy alcohol users don't take good care of their stomachs this too can lead to serious medical problems.

Taking a recomended dose of advil and going to a party won't kill you, unless you take that dose on a continous basis and the party never ends. Wooo Hooo!

I think overall, it's not a good idea to mix alcohol with pain relievers. However, if you are taking a regular dose of advil and you want to go have a beer or two, you will probably be fine. Just don't overdo it on the advil or the alcohol. Ibuprofen (advil/motrin) isn't as risky when mixed with alohol as acetaminophen (Tylenol). Tylenol should not be mixed with alcohol at all.

I'm not sue if its poisonous, but its something to avoid. Many people have drank alcohol and used ibuprofen, and had no ill effects. You sure wouldn't want to drink a lot while taking continuous max doses of ibuprofen, as it would be bad for you.
Try not to use the two together.

If you take a couple of advil and have a couple of drinks you'll be fine. Just remember moderation. Also I would advise you to not do that if either is something you are allergic to.

no, not poisonous. I would stick with Advil or Motrin or generic ibrofren. I wouldn't drink too much though, it might make your stomach upset. Always take ibrofren with food.

It isn't poisonous to drink and take advil, but it is really stupid to do it. The combination is really hard on your liver.

I have never had an issue with Advil or aspirin while drinking, however I am sure a few shots will help you forget about your knee :)

It won't hurt you. As a matter of fact, you will feel quite good.

However, don't do it on a regular basis. Advil is ibuprofen and with constant use of both it will destroy your liver.

Whatever Advil or Tylenol has in it, reacts poorly with your liver.
