I work for a builder who does not give out blueprints, they are copy rightes, they don't want people having another builder build their style house. Anyway, best thing is they should have a rough copy of approx room sizes etc. I guess it depends on what you need them for. If you are doing any work on the house after you bought it, you could contact the construction manager and see if they could give you advice or answers to what you are looking for.

For example, I had a homeowner ask where the electrical wires were in one wall b/c he wanted to cut a hole through for a pass through from the kitchen, he one, took pics while the house was under construction,. but he also talked with the construction manager just to make sure he wasn't going to run into anything behind the drywall.

Good luck with whatever you project

That seems like a not so nice person. Afraid they didn't do it right are they? They should give you a copy if you bought it from the builder. If not then that is different. Maybe the local county development Authority has one on file when the builder proposed to build. I don't know but worth a try.

If he doesn't have them, maybe his architect does (if he used one.) Sometimes these designs are cookie cutter and they don't really have blue prints.

If it's a standard design you could ask for the name of the plan and search for that plan name on the internet.

Good luck.
