I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow and im going for the whole nicole richie bang idea. I "sort of" have them already but they wont stay to the side and they're slightly uneven so im getting them redone. Also i want something that adds more volume to my hair because its really fine. So...any tips on products, how to get them to stay to the side, good examples of people to mention to my hairdresser, or any tips in general?

what you need to do is bring pictures of how you want your hair. Nicole might have a different cut on her bangs than what your hairdresser is thinking... or you... so you want pictures. that will help her a TON!

then, you need volumizing products for your hair. blow drying with your head upside down can also help you get more volume.

i would ask your hair dresser what products she suggests for your hair, specifically. you will want a separate product for your bangs to help them go the way you want-- most likely.

They worte a song about a girl's bangs.

Bangs
Above your eyes your hair hangs
Blow my mind, your royal flyness, I dig your bangs

Bangs
To drape across your forehead
To swing concordant angles as you incline your head

Once with a girl I fell in love some time ago
Now she had bangs
Are that on which the world hangs
I'm only holding your hand
So I can look at your
Bangs
