It depends on why they are turning you down. You need to find out why before you can fix it. You may have too many revolving accounts, or not enough accounts, or your income to debt ratio may be too high. It could be a number of things.

If you can get your credit cards to less than 25% of the limit, that will help your score. If you have too many credit cards, then that can hurt your score. Always pay more than the minimum amount due. Try to not charge more than you can afford to pay off each month. You may start by getting a copy of your credit report and see whether something is on there which should not be on it. If so, then you can dispute the item. The reporting agency has 30 days to prove the debt or remove it from your report. The main thing which will improve your score is to make monthly payments on time over a period of time.

There are lots of ways to accomplish what you want but only 1 best way. If you have lots of time and persistence, you can take a stab at it yourself. I believe, however, that your credit is at least on the same level of importance as taxes (which most people have professionally completed). I know of a non-profit company that does all the leg work for you and hopes to improve your score 90 points in 90 days. Check out the credit repair link at www.totaldebtsolutionsllc.com

I was able to get to 595 from 489 in just one day and from 489 to 748 in just a few week; that's pretty fast in my book. Good luck!

I have good credit but just recently I applied for a creditcard but was denied because I had too many accounts opened for a limited time.

borrow as much money as you can, sit on it for a year, and then pay it all back. Do this several times, and your score should go up. I have done this and I have a nice score.
