I like all those who point out your fact are entirely wrong. Yep, there is a thing called evidence, which is put togther and facts determined.
you clearly lack any of these things.

I thought pastafarianim was the fastest growing religion in most of the western world, or maybe scientology. The percentage of christians in the UK is definately shrinking from 4%.
The US?, christianity is about 80% but falling fast.

So what if christianity is growing (somewhere..) why is this important to you?? you have the biggest and best religion? Well, athiesm has a higher percentage of university academics than christianity plus several other religions combined, so nah nah na na naaah.

Just because an opinion is common and widespead doesnt make it right. Didnt the majority of the people think the world was flat a few hundred years back, or that the sun revolves around the earth??
Common opinion has often proved wrong in human history.

To quote GK Chesterton: "Fallacies do not cease to be fallacies because they become fashions."

Personnally, i put more trust in the opinion of an educated minority over the popular opinion of the ignorant masses - on a wide variety of topic. Arn't the educated minority the ATHIEST academics??

:P
love to all the intelligent religious and non-religous people.

I'm catholic and i have to say that i completely disagree with you...you must be one of those born again kooks.
Major Religions of the World
Ranked by Number of Adherents
(Sizes shown are approximate estimates, and are here mainly for the purpose of ordering the groups, not providing a definitive number. This list is sociological/statistical in perspective.)
Christianity: 2.1 billion

Islam: 1.3 billion

Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 1.1 billion

Hinduism: 900 million

Chinese traditional religion: 394 million

Buddhism: 376 million

primal-indigenous: 300 million

African Traditional & Diasporic: 100 million

Sikhism: 23 million

Juche: 19 million

Spiritism: 15 million

Judaism: 14 million

Baha'i: 7 million

Jainism: 4.2 million

Shinto: 4 million

Cao Dai: 4 million

Zoroastrianism: 2.6 million

Tenrikyo: 2 million

Neo-Paganism: 1 million

Unitarian-Universalism: 800 thousand

Rastafarianism: 600 thousand

Scientology: 500 thousand

So please note that us Christians only make up about 33% of the world. And the word Christian includes (protestants, episcopalian, catholics, born agains, etc.) And as a Catholic i would never want anything to do with a born again

Most people in the U.S. are Christians but look at
what goes on over here everyday and on television
I hope that you are not consciously blind enough
to believe just because someone is a christian that
it would make the situation any better. If you look over
history christians have always fought against each other
in wars, politics, even issues that are clearly considered
wrong from biblical standards. Practice what you preach!!

First off, I have read many of your questions and realized that you are obviously an idiot, so I know I can't trust you on statistics. Secondly, if it's true, so what? That doesn't mean Christians are right and atheists are wrong. Like I said on another one of your "questions", the majority of the world use to think the earth was flat too. Just because the majority of people believe something, doesn't mean it's correct.

Try reading, listening, and watching something other than one of the christian propaganda stations or papers.

I would also like to see your sources.

And, my days aren't numbered. Even if it is growing, in no way will that effect the way I look at life. So, I don't know what that statement meant.

Your stupid religion has no meaning to people who have any type of reasoning skills. That means that for christianity to grow, the world has to become more unreasonable. This may be true, but to be proud of it just proves what a horse's butt hole one is.

Millions of people thought Hilter was correct too. The Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster is growing the fastest.

If that is true, it doesn't change the fact that I have the right to believe whatever I want to believe. My days aren't numbered because of someone elses beliefs.
