If it's 'glory', isn't He then comparable to a nine year old showing off in front of his pals?

He wants YOU to spend eternity with Him,
because He loves YOU very much.

that's no way to speak about your Father now is it?

ok so what u said does not actually make sense but it did make me laugh a little!!

I am a solid Christian but I like to mix it and let my hair down a bit.

if I were a completely perfect individual in every way, i might have been a bit cross with u.

keep asking ur questions and try to pick out the answers that come from people who speak to u as if u r an equal, not an underling. u might then get what u r looking 4.

love 2 hear more of what u meant.

He created billions of stars in billions of galaxies and put this tiny planet there for a bunch of evolved apes that got a little smart but VERY arrogant at their place in the cosmos. Time for religious nutters to get real methinks!

God just wants our trust..he don't expect us to sit around adoring him 24/7 God is more understanding than any human and easily forgives us our misdeeds if we are truely sorry. he gave us all free will.....what does he expect? For us to do our best to make the right choices.

PS: those who diss God..it don't make you look cool...just daft and prejudiced...live and let live eh?!

God wants us to worship Him. He made us, and He can ask us to worship Him if He wants. He is awesome, and a very loving Father. When we give God the glory we are recognizing that we can't do it with out Him. He gave us life and strength.

He created man to worship him.
He did not give the animals free will, or the ability to choose what they want to do with there lives.
Only man has the need to worship a creator or an object.
So there for we need to approach God with a clean and humble heart and listen to what he has to say.

God probably wants us to stop bothering him on Sunday mornings when he's trying to have a lie-in. He's there pretending he can't hear us, with his pillow other his head, muttering ''bl00dy kids'' ominously.

He wants us to live happy, useful and helpful lives in peace with one another. He also wants a father son relationship with us if we will have it. He won't force Himself on anyone. This is my understanding.

God wants us to trust Him. It's that simple. If He wants to show off, I volunteer to help Him. He doesn't need it, but I am on His side. ( ;
