You Use A Q-Tip Very Carefully. Don't Press To Hard Though. Make Sure That You Are Aware Of Your Surroundings, If Someone Bumps Into You, Your Q-Tip Could Get Stuck In Your Bellybutton. When I had a belly ring and I had to keep cleaning the pus out after it was first pierced (YUCK) they recommended a Qtip with gentle soap (like even hand soap) while in the shower. That does the trick.

Mines is very clean, because a few years ago I heard that same question and it made me start making sure that every time I shower I clean it. How about yours.

sure.. mine is an inny.... and with innys you comprehend that in case you do not sparkling it.. from all the sweat it starts off smelling like A S S... so shop it sparkling... you do not elect to be intimate with somebody and that they commence kissing your neck shifting down and kissing on your abdomen, attain your bellybutton and then... they gag?!?...its only incorrect.. q-tip and alcohol or cleansing soap and water in a tub... are available human beings shop it sparkling... ;)
