Your body mass index is a little high, so it would be good if you could bring that down a little. You are at the absolute top end of what might be considered an ok weight for someone your age is you have a large frame and have a lot of muscle.

Just make a few small changes if you want to lose a little weight. Walk a little more everyday. Eliminate some useless calories from your diet, such as soda, junk food, fast food, fruit juices and replace them with nutritious food and lots of water. Start a weight training program and stay active.

You've got a little extra... but don't worry just yet. You should try to lose the extra weight before you're 18. Your body changes with each age change (I mean turning from a teenager into a woman) and, trust me on this one, once you turn 20, it'll be a lot tougher to get rid of the extra pounds. Plus, staying fit is a habit, so you may want to start making a habit of it as of now, because the older you get the harder it is to stay in shape.
I know some people who started dieting at your age, and now they're 50, riding motorbikes, feeling super and looking 30.
It's your call in the end. Don't a make a fuss of it, but don't igonore it either.

Honey plz I remember how it feels to be 15 and you sound just fine. Don't listen to ppl when they say "you may be a bit overweight." The world concentrates so much on weight these days that it has had an effect on our kids. Besides you said you were toned up right? Trust me when you get older... you'll find that guyz like a grl with a lil meat on her and if you're happy with yourself...screw what other ppl think. Take my advice and don't get caught up in the hype.

Can you pinch any rolls of fat?? If not, you are not FAT! No matter what you weigh or how tall you are or what BMI indicates or what the world says!!
My husband has always been considered obese according to charts but he has NO fat on him at all, he works out and has LOTS of muscle!

do you feel fat? do you feel unhealthy? the BMI and standard weight charts do not take muscles into account or differing body types.. my sister was told she was fat at 155 and she's 5'9", dont worry bout being "fat" just dont be unhealthy...
