Here is the HelpDesk Phone Number for Microsoft:
1-800-936-5700

They may be closed at this hour, but, you can probably reach them tomorrow or Monday.

I downloaded IE7 a few weeks ago and the result was a slower computer and constant obnoxious messages telling me that IE7 had encountered a problem and needed to close. This happened 3 or 4 times a day. After displaying the message I was asked if I wanted to send an error report which I did. Then IE7 would close down on me.I would immediately start it back up and it would be fine for a while then the same crap again. Then 2 nights ago it happened for the last time because when I sent the error report it froze up my screen.I uninstalled IE7 and went back to IE6 and have not had a problem since.

a better question is how many people were dumb enough to install IE7 ? by all reports IE7 screws up everything. maybe should have waited til it was tested.

solution uninstall. Internet explorer is not that good to start. then just when they started to get a handle on the bugs >>IE7. blah

look into mozilla firefox.

Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Word. You might want to re-install Microsoft Office.

Well IE 7, did not mess up Microsoft Word, you probably accidently removed your toolbar.

Click on "View" then goto "Toolbars"

and select "Standard" and "Formating". I believe these are the standard toolbars.

WHY DOES EVERYONE DISLIKE IE7? I have had absolutely NO problems!!! I have encountered ZERO side effects on my computer as a result. ONLY better browsing, cleaner look, and better functionality!

I would uninstall it & go back to IE6. The reports on it say it's still more trouble than it's worth. It has to be out for a while before they work out all the quirks. Give it some more time to install again.
