Mine does. When she purrs she sounds like a little Harley Davidson, and when she snores it sounds like a human snoring.

Yes, mine snores all the time! When I'm asleep she lays on my chest and puts her nose up against mine. Her snoring is so loud sometimes it wakes me up at like 3am, lol. I think she's just a loud breather because she purrs like a motorboat too.

Hi Delilah...they certainly can snore, some more than others. Flat faced cats are more prone to snoring as well even aging cats may snore like my former kitty (RIP).

Do Cats Snore?

Most of us will readily admit to being woken up in the middle of the night by our husband's (or wife's) imitation of an oncoming locomotive, but by our cat's snoring? You don't mean that delicate little creature peacefully grooming herself on your bed right now? Alas, a new study conducted at the Mayo Clinic has found out the terrible truth: Of the people who say they allow their pet to sleep in the bedroom with them at night, snoring was reported in 21 percent of dogs and (gasp!) 7 percent of cats

I had a Siamese cat which used to snore, but not as strong as a human being. It was funny to hear her doing it :) I guess it is normal in cats and dogs also.
I really liked that cat but a crazy neighbor killed her ;(

I once had a Persian named Baxter that slept at the foot of the bed and snored like a chainsaw, it was very different from his purring, and oddly, louder...quite freaky, but he was a sweet cat otherwise and i truly miss him these days.
