For most people, it is. You have to be ready for a huge committment and you need to be 100% dedicated to get that body.

This isn't for everyone, but some people feel more self-confident with a slimmer body.

It definitely is healthier (as long as its not TOO slim!) and can reduce risks like heart disease and diabetes, because you'll be exercising and eating healthy and will feel more energized.

But the choice is entirely up to the person :)

I believe it is worth it.

Depends how you become slim though...

when you get slim by eating correctly
you'll feel better emotionally and physicallly.
(The end result is wonderful.
I say go for it if you're thinking about it!)

Note: Be sure to do it the right way. Some people
go on insane diets or take really bad pills which
results in completely messing up their body's systems.
The best way to slim down is by exercising, eating in moderation, and eating healthy.

you will have a better health, not only a better heart , but better bones , stronger immunity as well. our bodies weren't created to live a sedentary life. so we need to get it the activities it needs to work properly. you will save on doctors bills in the future too.
you have to slim down properly, think of being physically fit not just losing pounds quickly, or trying the different diets or medications that make you slim down, it will only harm you.
the best way is to go to a registered dietician and get a trainer or join a gym.
in this world you have to take good care of your self and to enjoy independancy you have to be strong and healthy among other things.
good luck!

After a certain point, it doesn't even feel like "working" anymore, once you start losing that weight and getting compliments. There is no reason to NOT have a slim body - everyone SHOULD eat healthier and exercise, not just to look good, but to live longer. It becomes part of your daily routine.

Yes, fat people are disgusting. Some countries have decided to have them put down when they top 300 pounds. I approve of this.
