i love junk food and all that crap and dotn exercise much bt i dont get any fatter, is this a disorder? im worried! please help!

if you are young you can get away with it now because your metabolism is fast. but one you hit around 20-30 yrs you have to watch a bit more closely. Plus all that garbage isnt good for your system, even if you dont gain weight, you are damaging your internal organs and digestive system. You should try and get on a good excercise plan also, everyone needs to be active, even if you have a fast metabolism, 20-30 min of excersie per day for eveyone is ideal, anything from a job, to weights, to yoga...give it a try.

It may not effect you right now, but it might some day. As you get older your metabolism will slow down.

I dont think its a disorder, but be careful. Fatty foods are no good for your body, not only becuase they will cuase you to gain weight but they put a burden on your heart. Even if your not gaining weight, it does not mean that your arteries arent getting clogged.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Super skinny, but I <3 Junk food!

My parents say it's because I have a fast metabolism.

junk food is not only dangerous on weight, they can affect ur skin, ur mood, and ur general well being. as mentioned, if ur healthy weight ur lucky coz u have a wonderful metabolism... I always debate the sense of this luckiness though, coz sometimes, weight is like this BIG indicator for us to save us from hurting our internal systems even more... so please just be careful... and leave some fries for me :p (a slow metabolism suferer trying to feel better :pppp).. no seriously, watch out :)..

You simply have a fast metabolism. As you get older, however, your metabolism will slow down gradually and you may put on some pounds later in life if you don't start developing a healthier lifestyle now :)

Is your body temperature usually on the high side?
Do you get enough sleep?
Irregular eating habits? Skip any meals?
You may have a "slim" mentality, eventhough you like
junkfood.

Luck one... You are very lucky.Just don't eat too much junk food. Eat healthy as well or you might get sick.

it depends on your age as well
i have been like that all my life
never gained weight
but i am in my late 20s
people say that by 40 all these food will hit me and i will lose my metabolism
only time will tell so be careful

you probably just have a fast metabolism but if you are concerned ask your dr to check your thyroid for over activity.
