brown,red or purple highlights?

which colour will look best on black hair?

Red is the best "natural" color, but I really like the way purple looks as well. I also suggest a really dark blue.

Light brown and/or red highlights would look the best. You can also go for blonde.

Just kind of stay away from purple.

Honestly, if your hair is black I would suggest some skinny highlights of red.

Try to stay away from brown though, because then when it fades you will start to look mousy and dull.

The most important part of highlighting hair, is making it look as NATURAL as possible. The more sparse and skinny the chunks of colored hair, the better.

It really depends how old you are if you younger than 12 i would say brown if between 13 and 17 I would say bright red or purple and if older i would say a dark red. (with black hair i really like bright red and light purple)

I have jet black hair and I have blonde chunky highlights =D But Out of those 3 I like purple ^^

with your short hair purple plz my friend has short black hair with red highlights and most people think it looks really bad ive ceen purple and it looks 1000 x better

Well, those are all get colors i mean its hard to choose....but if you want a more natural look do the brown....for a wild look do the purple........for a modern yet classy do the red...im sure they would all look get on you!!!!!!!!!

brown looks kinda cute if you get a lot evenly thruout, i got like red streaks, and i have black hair, it looked really cute, and blonde looks bad, a little over the top kinda
