I'm going to assume that this is becuase you sweat a lot in a sauna and you're only really losing water weight.

I'm curious to know (Its not something I'd try).....

If I sat in a sauna all day long and lost 1lb.... would drinking water afterwords totally defeat the whole purpose?...

I drink a lot of water...probably more than 100oz a day. .... If you're only loosing water weight in a sauna, and then you drink water .... wont you just gain all the weight back??

Just curious

If you sat in a Sauna all day you would become dehydrated and probably suffer from heat exhaustion . no Sauna's don't help you lose weight except water, they are to clean the pores of you skin

saunas do only get rid of water weight. in fact you are not moving and your body doesn't even have to keep itself warm... very uneffective method.
