Hi
I believe in the spirit world and have had lots of experiences when they have made contact. Please dont believe people who will tell you that its demons and fallen angels - what I think has happened is if your friend died suddenly and unexpected than your friend may be not aware that he/she is dead or up set about the fact that he/she has died or may be wanting to contact you. Spirits are energy, and energy cant die. Spirits can contact people they care about and let them know that they are around them without the use of a medium, they can do this by:
Lights: Many times some people can experience flickering of lights in the room, or new light bulbs burn out instantly. More often than not your lights are effected when a spirit spends a lot of time around you or when they want to get your attention.
T.V: Spirits have been known to effectively scramble pictures on the tv set.
Radios: Many clock radios next to loved ones' bed will turn on at different hours, sometimes it is the hour that has some importance to the person who has passed away. Many times a radio with go on when a particularly significant song is on the air.
Music: many times in their own way spirits are able to impress you with a song or you may think about them when a song is played on the radio.
Clocks: A clock will stop at the exact moment the person has passed over or a clock or watch will stop working for no reason.
Telephones and answering machines: After someone dies it is possible to recieve a phone call and no one is on the other side, or you could hear the voice of the person . in some cases it has been recorded.
Appliances: Appliances have been know to stop or start working at different times when no one is around them.
Other signs are smells or the scent of the person, a favourite perfume, gifts are another sign, a spirit sends gifts and material items but we do not connect that they are from loved ones. Spirits can impress us to buy things or go to shops where things we like are there and we buy them. Animals are also used by the spirit . Many times a spirit being can influence a bird or small animal to come by us to get our attention in some way.
What I sugest is you talk openly to your friend and ask them how they are going and talk with them and ask them what they want, meditation can also help you get in contact and help your friend be at peace. There are some good books out there one is Talking to Heaven by James Van Praagh, also others in the new age section of good book shops. you are also more open to these things because you are sad and in tune with your emotions.
Please let me share some of my experiences with you. God bless, and no you are not going crazy.
My dad dies nearly three years ago. He was very sick with a terminal ilness. The final days of his life he was talking about the fact he wanted to catch up with his mum and his brother. And thats all he talked about. All of us kids (there are 6 and we are all adults of varying ages 30 - 40 and all educated to varying degrees). The day before he passed away I felt realy happy and carefree as if I was going on a trip. I was singing a couple of dads favourite songs including a favourite of his called "I am going back to where I come from". I had to remind myself that I was not going anywhere of significance and still I felt light hearted and free. at 7 the next morning mom rang to tell me that dad ghad died at 5.15 that morning. Now I have a clock with a picture of my son as a baby on it on my night stand and it stopped at 5.15. My sister rang me that day and told me when she heard the news that she had thought "poor dad what will become of him? and got a very clear answer back "we have him" in her mind.
The next few months all of us reported that we had had experiences of dad speaking with us in dreams or in my sisters case she actually heard him play his harmonica to her but when she went to investigate it stopped. My pet name that my dad called my was Lucy and when I was in a shopping mall I had this urge to go to the public notices where people advertise things and there was a advert for a lost dog called "hello lucy".
It has been believed for 100's of years that the dead return in spirit and lets us know they are there in lots of subtle ways. Because spirits are energy they communicate through electricity. I asked dad alound once if you are here make a light globe explode and several went off that week, the house was new and all the globes had been replaced a couple of weeks before.
You need to look out for subtle signs - you might hear a song that he liked, or read a poem. THe lyriks of a song might be in your head and they might have some significance. the constant barking of your dog or the agitation of your animals might signal he is there in spirit. Spirits communicate through so many signs. Keep a look out. When my dad was cremated I stood at a pond and said a prayer and my partner was squinting and could of sworn he saw a old guy in a hat of the 30's walking by out of the corner of his eye and then it was gone..................my dad wore hats and the clothes he described were waht my dad was dressed in at his cremation.............
You might be on the bus and notice something of significance on a bill board. My dad loved the 202 rifle as he had learnt to shoot in the army. After he was cremated my family went to a favourite place and got some fish and chips. THe guy called out their number for their order and it was 202....................

If you saw my question regarding the Old Religion, you will have some idea (rightly or wrongly) of my beliefs...
Thousands of years ago, ancient man believed that life was a wheel or a circle. If you consider the archaelogical traces of buldings all over the world, especially in Europe and particularly Britain, you will see that they were round. Most of our ancestor peoples at this time had some way to keep the remains of THEIR ancestors as close to them as possible.
All of this was because humans originally believed that there was an afterlife. In their view then, this had nothing to do with a mythical Heaven or Hell. It simply WAS. Life was a a wheel because every animal and every person that died, did not actually die. Whether buried in the soil, left up in a tree for animals and birds to devour, or burnt as a cremation, every atom of the body would be reabsorbed in some way by the planet.
If you think of this as primitive, consider this - we all come from star-stuff. The Earth was created from the condensing of gases into a star that became our sun. Someday, that star will burn almost out, then swell and explode into a Nova. The dust and gases left will combine with other material and condense, in the fullness of time, into a star. All stars are spheres and so are planets. Is that not the neatest thing? Yor friend cannot leave you. No-one can ever leave us. We are all part of the whole. I have lost many people in my life and I remember every one of them. So they live on in my memory and they live on in the air, the soil and the atmospher - until they all become part of our planet.
I know that some will say, ah but we do not build round now. No, we don't - and why not? Because the Romans came. They built the first huge Empire and introduced materialism first - money, slavery as currency and the concept of using one set of peoples to divide and conquer another. Then they took a perfectly resaonable set of eastern beliefs and built a Church upon it. This Church, with all the power and might of the Roman Empire behind it, was then able to impose itself upon the peoples of the known world.
The old ways that had served humans well for so many thousands of years, were swept away. An unconscious recognition that everything in nature was connected, was replaced by commercialism and the steady growth of practises that eventually became capitalism. People began to forget the ways that they had developed memory of the past. Writing took its place and happenings were recorded in that way. But the problem with that can be encapsulated in the fact that "History is usually written about by the Winners."
Most modern religions have had the original messages of peace and love distorted by being translated from one dead language to another - and by being changed into a manner that suits those recording the message. Imagine the way Christianity has developed; written on papyrus in ancient Aramaic, translated into Ancient greek, the another form of Greek, into Latin, then several Eurpean languages and dialects, into Elizabethan English (ever read Shakespeare in the original?) then modern Eurpean languages. How much truth remains?
These are all checkable facts. The truth that there is no real death is real. you will live again - but not on some cloud with a harp and a white gown!
THINK about it.

There have been many, many people over the years die on an operating table etc. and have had there spirits travel to a Heaven like environment, just to be pulled back into there body and remember even the doctor saying they were gone. The early church and Jews believed in The Re-in-Carnation of the soul.Which means returning in the flesh. There are a lot of people who have had passed memories of lives in other times past. Such as a solider in the Civil War or a maid in a poor farm house in Ireland. After checking names and photographs a lot of these people tracked down there relatives from past lives. There are thousands of case files on this. Check your library. There is a TV show about Ghost Hunters on television. I believe its the travel channel. They go to the most haunted places on earth and often find there to be spirits. Sometime they don't find a thing. They came to my town once to check out a haunted library, but did not find anything; which only gives them credibility. I believe after my mother died I had a scents of her in the house of my cousin after a seance. We tried it again in another location and there was nothing. They will come to you for a time. If you feel them there tell them its alright to go. They sometimes get earth bound.

You are not loosing it.
Yes, since we are not our physical bodies but spiritual beings who use or operate bodies.
What dies is the body. At which point the person separates from the body.
When this is sudden and unexpected there are usually some incomplete things that the person has attention on, usually with family and friends coping with the sudden loss.
The person usually wants to communicate and reassure, but because the physical body is no longer present this is hard to do.
The ability to communicate is not changed just the method, which cannot be physical (voice).
Anyway my advice to you is go with whatever is real to you in this situation.
The point is that there is a "between" life, as well as past and furture lives.

Yes, I believe in life after death and I believe that spirits can come back from time to time, or they wait here until the veil is thin enough between the two worlds for them to cross. I also believe in reincarnation. So what are the strange things that have been happening to you?
No, you're not losing it.

I do believe. I believe we are all children of God and were sent here to receive a body and learn to chose right from wrong. To exercise free agency in how we conduct our lives, and if we follow Gods word and plan. That we will be judged upon our choices and what is written in the scriptures. That Jesus died on the cross not only to take away our sins if we let him, but also that we would be able to have a resurrected body at the appointed time. All we have to do is follow his word and example have faith and trust in him. God bless and have faith and trust in Christ.

i believe you a reborn an infant and you begin another life, then when event like deja vu happen you are reminded by events that happened in your previous life. the best way to describe it would be like the matrix but with out the machines or even like a movie, a single powerful creator would have the power to do this. your spirit stays on earth and repeats its self over and over, living many lives until you finally get good deeds to ascend to a better form or place

I do believe that there is life after death, and there is Heaven or hell. I personally think that when people die young, or whenever that they have proven themselves to God and are ready to be in Heaven. It makes me mad when people say you just rot in the groun like animals. No you don't, and animals do not either. There is a place garderd with gates that is unlocked with the power of love called Heaven. A lot of people are stuborn and need proof of this, but you need to have faith and be optomistic. People lean on science and logic, but the truth is that science can't explain everything, miracles, heaven, God, but you need to beleive and if that is too much for people, their heart is guided through the wrong path.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!
