her plz help cuz im going on a feild trip in 1 week HELP!!

just shave it and then wear long pants when you are around her...that's what i do(wink~wink)...or use nair the hair removals that doesn't require usin razors and it dont hurt

Just go buy a disposible razor (pkg) and some shaving gel form the drugstore. When you are in the shower, put the gel on one leg and shave up from the ankle to the knee. Don't do your thighs unless you have to (dark hair or very hairy). Be careful on your knee. Repeat on the other knee. Put moisturizor on after your shower.
I can't see your mom freaking out over shaving. It's not like you are getting pierced but I understand you are embarassed about it. I didn't tell my mom. I just started shaving. You know though, it might be a way to open a good conversation with your mom. This one is pretty easy and if you are embarassed about it, it might be hard talking to your mom later, like when you get your period or are thinking about getting a boyfriend. Look at it as practice for later on down the road.

Starting to shave your legs is nothing to be embarrassed about, your Mom could help you, I would suggest some a great scented shaving cream for woman, and a Gillette sensor hand razor, they work great, and the shaving cream will moisturize your legs. When out shopping go to the isle with all the shaving products, and talk to your Mom about buying some for you. Best Wishes Happy Shaving and have a fun on your field trip.

Ask her! I was embarrassed about it the first time I wanted to shave my legs as well and tried it one day when I was home alone. I had so many cuts on my legs because I didn't know how not to cut my knees and ankles. You might be embarrassed for a little while but it will be better than having shaving cuts on your legs for the field trip. I'm sure she'll understand if you ask her nicely and try to be really careful while shaving your legs until you get used to it.

i started when i was 11 and a half. what i did was i walked to CVS after school since it was on the way home, bought a razor, and shaved my legs without her knowing. im not sure when she figured it out (by seeing me when i wore shorts) but when she did she didn't relaly care. but thats just my mom. if i were you i would ask her if you can shave your legs. dont be embarassed, pretty much all girls and women do it. if she says no, do what i did and get a razor yourself. also a good way to ask her is if you go to CVS or stop and shop together, you can be like "o yeah, can i buy a razor" and maybe that will work

don't worry, just tell her you want to start shaving or ask her the next time you go shopping what type of razor/shaving cream is good to buy. She will probably be relieved that you asked her before she had to tell you that you needed to start bc your legs were too hairy!! You could tell her that you are worried about the field trip or that other girls in your grade have started and you are feeling self-conscious, depending on your relationship w/ your mom.

I'm 14 and I started when I was 11. Just tell your mom, "Hey, mom, I want to start shaving my legs." It's not embarassing at all, trust me. I told my mom and she was like "Okay." and she bought me a razor and some shaving gel. Simple as that. She won't mind, it's part of growing up!

been there, done that. if u r like 7 or 8 yrs old just wait untill u get older. if u r like 10 or 9, just say-mom, i am a little embarrassed about how i dont shave mi legs. can i plz start?

OMG! Thats just like me. I really wanted to shave but i was embarassed then my grandmother confronted me and was like "You should really start to shave" and i was like, that's enough. Your mom has no reason to say no, and every reason to say yes. Start by asking her when she started. She'll probably give u what u need and tell u how 2 do it. She's not gonna get in the shower/bathtub with you. LOL... I suggest starting with soap so u can see ur legs. It works fine and its alot safer. Good Luck.

hi, well this was a problem for me. i had just turn 17 and never shaved and i wanted to see what its like.i knew my grandmother is totally against it but i just did it and i don't think she knows as yet. i just sat down and pull the razor ad it looked good so i went and took a shower and finish the job.
you should be able to know ur mon better and know if she talks about these gurl stuff!!! wats ur age? does ur peers shave? if they do just tell her that in ur conversation.

The same thing happened to me but i was going to camp. I just asked my mom if i could shave my legs. You have to be straight out about it. Your mom was a girl at one time to so she knows what your going through.
