Let the fear motivate transformation! There are so many things we can do to stop this destruction of our earth. Yes, the rock that our planet is will remain but it will be inhabitable for humans, plants and animals if we continue living like we do. However, it doesn't mean we have to give up the great things about society that we love! It just means encouraging our politicians and scientists to go forward with the technology that we already have to live a sustainable life.
Easy things you can do:
~Buy things that are made in your city.
~Get your energy company to use renewable resources, they're out there already.
~Walk more, drive less, take the bus or ride your bike!
~Turn off the lights when your not in the room.
~Turn down the heat when you're not at home.
~Plant trees, take care of plants, remind them that they're loved and that we want them to stick around!
~Have hope that the majority of the population will pay attention to what's happening and make the changes necessary so our children and grandchildren can still know what polar bears are!

I have traditionally been a conservative that attributed global warming to weather patterns humans have yet to understand. This winter, however, I have grown increasingly alarmed by the warm weather outside. Specifically, today in the southeastern United States where I live the temperature reached 70 degrees F. This is unholy and unheard of. At his point, I am worried that the polar ice caps may begin to melt at a rate which the planet cannot accommodate leading to massive catastrophes worldwide.

In leiu of everything going on with Mother Nature I feel the sweetest tabu with 68 degree weather in January in Philadelphia. It feels really wierd but if you ask me if I wanted to do something about it I would have to say no. I want global warming to stop too but want my warm weather to continue

I agree. Everyone should be concerned about this matter. So many things effect it. I think if one person tells to few people they know and they tell few people they know, pretty soon lot of people would be educated on the subject.
Tell your friends: plant a tree, don't cut it down;
Eat vegetables not live stocks; Ride a bike or walk once inawhile;
recycle; complain to government; etc.
Good Luck, Think about the future for our kids!

dont be scared i was talking to my science proffesser and he recently was studying it at a lab with other proffessers. He said the earth always experiences dramatically hot weather and also cold weather but lately its been happening extremely fast. He has been runnig more tests and no one is sure if global warming does exhist it could be bad science.

I am. Living in Michigan almost my entire life, I understand what winter is. We haven't had a winter in Michigan yet!! We generally have feet of snow, we have none, even in the upper penninsula. I am truly concerned about global warming.

Yeahhhhhh, buddy. It's a fear that is not at all helped, rather worsened, by the current administration's attitudes.
