I have a 1973 Jeep CJ 7, it is a straight 6 cyl. in very good condition with very low miles. Does anyone know what it is worth or how I can find out? Kelly Blue Book seems to only have quotes for cars newer than 1987.

They never made a 1973 Jeep CJ7, It is probably a CJ5
There is no mention whether it has a soft or hardtop with or without doors, how many k's and the general condition of the body and If the vehicle is stock or has been modified.

Condition is everything... that said, out here in Southern California where body rust is not a problem CJ-7s are very desirable. There were a lot fewer of them made than the CJ-5 and the longer wheel base makes for more room inside.. Depending on body condition, mileage, and if all of the running gear works well.. $3500 to $5000... or even more if it is in very good condition.. On the other hand if it need lot's of work and looks rough.. $1200 to $1500.. good luck

All depends on who you are dealing with, there is a seat for every butt. I just gave $500 for a 1951 and a 1955 M38A1 which is basically a CJ5 only military and would not take less than a $1000 for either one and they are rusty and one does not run. Just depends on who you are trying to sale to. Send me some pictures, I may be interested.

A dealer would offer you next to nothing for it, try selling it privatley I would as others have said have it independently surveyed, then put ten percent on what they say.
All dealership books like Kelly Blue Book only go back ten years, anything beyond that, is to them worthless.
Good Luck

I sold my 70 CJ for $6000. It was recently rebuilt, new paint, interior also front & rear lockers.

Check a web site for " Kelly Blue Book" or check your local news paper for used vehicles that match yours
