I hate my family. For instance my mom is self centered and cares about herself, every mothers day I buy her a mothers day card, she yelled at me for not giving her a best gift, she don't care about me. My dad always beat me up for not cleaning the dishes. My little brother is the pain in the a$$. He always takes my stuff, then I spanked him twice and he cries, so my mother has to spank me for no *****n reason. Everytime I went somewhere my mother and my father will yell at me infront of people and they said I was extra retarded also they say that I wish you die right now. I'm 13 and I hate my family and should I run away from my family.

Please do not run away. Seek help. Talk to your school councillor or a doctor. Go to the police station. There are so many places you can go for help. Children's Aid Society is there to help you to! Running away is not the answer, all it will give you is MORE heartache. Go to extended family like an aunt or your grandmother...someone you can trust. Try to stay positive ok...i know it is hard. Use your brain...stay off the streets. All that will bring you is more trouble in your life! Don't do drugs or alcohol...seek your help you need to get where you need to go!

I wish you all the best! (((HUGS)))

I think you all could use some counseling. I don't know if that's plausible or not, though. No, I don't think you should run away from your family. If you're only 13, you'll have no where to go. Stick it out a few more years until you are old enough to get a job and all that. If your dad is always beating you up for not cleaning the dishes, and you really , really want out of your family, go to the cops and report him for child abuse. They'll probably take you out of your house and put you in foster care or something. That probably won't make you any happier. I say, stick with it. Things are always difficult when you're a teenager.

Dont run away. Talk to a counselor concerning this. Your only 13. If you call DCFS on your parents, be prepared to move from foster home to foster home. Unless you can get yourself an apartment, pay for your own medical, provide your own food and transportation, then you wont make it out in the real world.

You can get mad at me for saying this, but this is the real life. If you could do all of this by yourself, then by all means, run away. If you cant, then I suggest you stick it out. Try to achieve in school. Get yourself a good job once you reach the legal age to work, and continue off to college. Then, only then, will you have the freedom you want.

Remeber, you are so worth so much. Your parents dont deserve you. Shove it in their face that you are not a looser by succeding in life. Then when you have your degree and your great job, and your rocking house, and nice car, you can tell them "whos the looser now?"

I am sorry you are feeling so bad, but you should never run away.........there are so many bad things out there that can happen to you.....go to someone at school and seek help. you are too young to feel like this and you need to talk with someone.. maybe your parents are dealing with some adult problems. I am hoping you will take my advice and go and find some help with one of your teachers, no child should feel as you do. I wish I could help you.... I would. I have four kids and I am always so happy when they think of me by making me a homemade card I keep every one of them. I am hoping you will go and get some help from someone.. please don't run away the world is big and there are people who enjoy being mean to kids. I will keep you in my prayers. if you need to talk to someone I will be glad to talk with you. take care and seek some help from a teacher or another adult maybe a grandparent or aunt or uncle.

I think you're having a poor me party which everyone does and needs from time to time. **** happens and family happens and whether you stretch the truth to make it look worse than it is, in the long wrong when you're mature and older you will realize how silly this Question was. Honeslty, be careful what you wish for, I'm sure you are just going through a tough adolescent time like everyone else goes through. Get off your soap box and starting acting like a MAN.

No, YOu should NOT.

If not in church, find one and occupy your time and thoughts with only the good of HAVING a family.

ONE DAY, it will seem not to be so bad.

We've ALL had our bad families. They just make us what we are today, but better people---NOW you will know what NOT to do, one day, to your OWN child.
