Kind of. It won't make you show up positive for drugs that you haven't used, but it can cause certain drugs to hang around longer than would otherwise be expected. Your liver is responsible for metabolizing or 'clearing' many drugs from your body. If your liver has been injured by a virus as in hepatitis it may not clear the drugs as rapidly as normal so a drug test could be positive long after you would expect it to be negative.
