seriously, just keep embellishing how happy you are to be his friend and how cool it is that hes not being all weird and falling in love with you. Just make jokes about it and if he ever gets the balls to come out and say that he does like you...laugh it off and say that hes funny and change the subject. Sounds stupid but it works like a charm. The laughter may be disheartening, but at least he thinks that you think that hes funny (silver lining)

Wow, I've been in this situation before! Just that a bit different in the story.

Anyways, just have him know that you like him only as a best friend and nothing too serious. Hopefully, he will get it somehow. Maybe you could also add in that you don't want to get serious, not yet for dating and all.

just be his friend. I have a friend that everyone tells me "I'm his dream girl", someone that he wants and looks for in a girl, but can't have. If he makes a move or he tells you how he feels, be honest with him. Dont be mean, or freak out, just tell him how you feel about him. I told my friend that if we dated and something happened where it didn't work out, I wouldn't want to loose him....try that. If he is your friend, then you'll get past it. It might be a little awkward after that first conversation, but it'll past. Just roll with it. Good luck, and hope that the movie is good!

first off, dont send the wrong signals. if you hang out with him a lot and alone, then he could missinterpret that. the only way he wouldnt is if he knows you two are strictly just friends. you could try telling him that you really value his friendship and appreciate him as a friend. friend and friendship being the key words. eventually he'll get the point

you really need to tell him that the feeling is not mutual.if you let him know early on then you have a better chance of not ruining your friendship,it may take him a little bit to get over the fact you don't like him like that, but in the end if you guys are really best friends he will completly respect your feelings, and continue to be your friend.but if you wait you could be accused of leading him on,and that's really going to hurt your friendship!! i wish you the best of luck!!

Make excuses, stop spending so much time with him, things will cool off and you can keep control of the relationship as a friendship only.
