they actually make a doggie ice cream. We buy it for our dogs on special occasions.

Yeah I give my dogs all sorts of human foods. Ice cream, yogurt, green beans, carrots, rice, bananas, apples...but not the core, they are toxic to dogs.

My dog even likes brocoli and brussel sprouts. But he is a labrador....and they are known for eating almost anything.

No me and my husband have a strict rule about this . no people food not ever cause you are just giving someone the opportunity to poison your dog . if your dog does not know what it is or has an aquired taste for it then your dog will not eat it . I hate when people give their dog people food and it gets fat and they say I dont know why my dog is so fat . well maybe all that people food could be the culprit . good luck.

We sometimes give our small dog a bone from a steak but other than that we really try not to give our dog people food. Our dog got an upset stomach when we feed him some people food. Our vet really recommends not to do people food. I think you need to judge your own animal and how he feels when eating people food. Moderation always can work.

Chicken only! And don't do it very often. Make it a treat every once in a while. Our dog is on a very healthy dog food diet...Nutro.
It's important to give your dog a high quality food...not the supermarket kinds. And research your breed. For instance, we have a German Shorthaired Pointer. They, like most short haired dogs, need a more oily food (chicken, lamb) because of their sensitive skin. If you get them hooked on table food it will be hard to go back. Like a junk food junkie!

ice cream is okay for your dog as long as it isnt chocolate and doesnt have a ton of bad things in it. natural ice cream would be the best. there is even icecream for dogs out there.

We try really hard to not give our dog people food because she will keep on coming back for more. We do give her popcorn and she loves it so now we can't eat popcorn with out her annoying us. My advice to you is not to do it often because it can get very annoying when you can't have a peaceful meal without your dog whining for some of your food.

we do too but don't dive your dog too much ice cream because it will make him gassy and maybee sick and never give you dog cooked chicken bones.cooked and un-cooked meat is okay though, this also depends on the breed of dog you have, i mean if you have a teacup poodle don't over load it with human food

hope it helps
