Promise rings are guys' way of claiming ownership of their girlfriends. I prefer to think of them as finger shackles.

This is coming from a guy,
no they are not, only engagement rings, and only spend like 1000 on an engagement ring, save the money for you honeymoon, buying a car, down payment on a house.
Rings are stupid i think

if u really like eachother and want to stay together forever. promise rings are usually for people who are too young to marry.

yes a promise ring is everything. it is a commitment. they r ur everything until u get ur engegment ring then ur wedding ring. its something u should cherish a whole lot. it is ur future. if u get a promise ring u r everything.

I've never though so. It's just a way of marking your boyfriend's territory. It's on the same level as what a dog does to a fire hydrant.
