I'm 27 and still debating that, so far im leaning towards just trying to sack every woman I go out with and move on. Maybe one day i'll have a live in companion, but she will have to realize that im not getting married.

Do you only want actual "guys" to answer this one?

What I've learned in life is that the #1 key to a successful relationship is common CORE values. Just about everything else fades and sours over time. The whole myth about "opposites attracting" is true at the onset of a relationship, but does not hold up over the long-haul.

I've also learned that we attract experiences based on our personal level or vibration of "havingness". In other words, if you live with a financial-struggle mentality, then you will attract those who are struggling financially. If you are noncommittal (and sometimes one doesn't even realize one is), then you will attract flaky people. If you are overly needy, then you will attract needy people ... and so it goes. It is called "The Law of Attraction."

Is it worth it? Is ANYTHING worth it? Everything has its pros and cons. Part of living is accepting the challenges life brings you. And the quality of the relationship you attract will be in direct proportion to your own level of real self-respect.

Personally, I would never choose a carefree / easy life over the rich experiences I've had in life, and that includes the hard times too. All of my good and poor relationships have taught me ~something~, every relationship has a lesson in it for us, if we just pay attention. If you are looking for the "easy life", I've got a big message for ya! There is no easy life. People always want what they don't or can't have. The singles wish they can find the right person to marry or regret losing "the one who slipped away." The married wonder if they should have held off awhile longer before tying the knot ... The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, right?

Good luck in sorting it all out. :-)

Yes. No doubt. Although you don't realize it though until you either have kids or something bad happens and your wife sticks by you. She'll be your worst enemy and best friend all at the same time. I've been divorced once and now remarried and now have 3 kids. It's all worth it. I would get divorced 100 times again and lose everything to my ex just to have my wife now.

In the meantime though - boink everything you can until you find the right one. Just don't be suprised when you find that it's all about the same anyway.
