it tangles because it is on your neck and throghout the day you are constanly moving your head and it gets tangled.

Lol. This is true. I think it's probably just from sweat, combined with buildup. Especially if it's human hair. For me, my natural hair tends to get very dry also. You may want to try a product called Vitapointe. It's a cream hair dressing, and it makes your hair look really shiny, and it moisturizes very well. You can apply it to the extensions also, but use it sparingly so that it doesn't weigh your hair down. I wish I knew for sure what caused that problem too. It would be a big relief!

because u have layed don it and u need to keep it combed and that the air hit it and dry it out and that is why it happened

My wife always used to complain about this. She added extra conditioner and uses it daily and told me that it helps.
