No. I am a current (and lifelong) Catholic who's not planning to trade in my religion for the "born-again" movement.

I was raised in Catholic school, made my first communion and confirmation, but when I read the Bible on my own, I left Catholicism. I didnt believe the Bible or Catholicism at that point, was Atheist, then Wiccan, then Buddhist. It wasnt until I realized that it is neither the fault of God nor the Bible that Catholicism strayed from their teachings that I got back into the Bible. I was born again when I was 27, I am 30 now and still am :)

i was a cradle Catholic who never understood the concept of "born again". i consider myself - BOTH! while raised and taight the values and morals of a Catholic Christian - i CHOOSE to stray and live a life not in accordance with the faith that I buried in myself. it was only after a "come back" and then a moment did I understand the concept - born again. While i was already baptized and HAD lived a good life before my straying.... i strayed and left that life behind me. coming into a full communion with Jesus I feel i allowed my spirit to be "born again". so.... i now consider myself not only a Catholic but a practicing Catholic - trying to live in a manner beffiting a Christian woman and learning more about scriptures and how they play into my life. I do that by attending mass and trying to live a good life - always remembering that God is with me at all times - and when times get rough and i revert back - i apologize to God because i know - He didn't like the way I was behaving! some days is a harder struggle then others so I am thankful that God gives me the opportunity to be born again - every morning He allows me to awake to another day of glory.

I am an atheist....but I know of two grown adults who converted from Catholic to 'born again'....
I'm not sure the exact reason, but from what I gather, they both moved to/visited the South and were soon brainwashed by X church,
the rest is history.

Yup, I'm one of them and PTL for it!
Catholic religion has their teachings soooo wrong. Starting with the salvation part, don't they know that before you baptize you need to repent from your sins, how can a baby have sins? Or better yet how can a baby repent? Then the worshipping of statues and images, then worshipping the virgin Mary.
I thank God that he opened my eyes and led me to the correct doctrine, Acts 2:38, the first step to christianity.

yes.
when I got old enough to know better,
I went looking for the truth and
studied all the major religions.
God revealed the Truth to me
and I asked Jesus into my heart.
It is amazing what you can see when God
opens your eyes.
