Homogenized means to mix or spread evenly throughout a base substance. War3rd knows what he is talking about as that is exactly how milk is treated, but the term homogeneous (meaning the same throughout) can be applied to any mixed substance like a milkshake or even cement

When a product such as milk is homogenized, it is placed under great pressure, which causes the fat molecules to form smaller globules that disperse within the liquid matrix 'homogeneously,' or evenly. This produces two desired results, a product with a better mouthfeel, and an enhanced shelf life.

Anything with an even distribution of materials, or a material in question, is considered 'homogonized' so it is not a term reserved solely to milk.
