how to make a friend realize I'm in over my head and having thoughts of suicide/cutting without spelling it out and seeming annoying?

when I say "having thoughts of suicide/cutting" I mean that I'm already cutting and having frequent thoughts of suicide. Sorry if that wasn't clear

You don't need a website to tell your friend that you're depressed, you need to find a doctor and tell him/her. If you're really thinking about harming yourself, go to an emergency room right now. DO NOT HARM YOURSELF! Forget online help, you need to talk to a professional right away.

ask your friend if they have ever had thoughts like that and ask them if they had a friend doing that what would they do to help that person. Can you talk to an adult? Sometimes talking to your dr about it is really good. You are in my prayers. Sometimes getting some exercise--walking or running helps. i used to walk a track at a school each evening and while I was walking I would tell God that I needed help--I would really cry out to God and ask Him to put me on the minds of other people so they would pray for me. Remember that things don't stay the same and if you just really endure (like a mom giving birth--that mom will endure a pretty rough time--but wow what a reward that she receives when the suffering is over) I will survive this tough time/

Certainly you have some friend who will listen to you get it all of your chest! Find things to be happy about. I have found that serving others is a great way to take the thoughts of myself off of my chest. For instance, I answer other people's concerns on Yahoo Questions! It makes me feel useful. IRL I don't feel very useful and needed :-)

You need to talk to someone who can help you immediately. Don't keep thinking about involving your friend, that will only cause harm to him/her. Pick up the phone and call now.
