if your a doc please help me out i jog the mile in 8 min and 10 sec is that good? if you know what's the average time 2 jog a mile for me

My son did cross country last fall, and did about 9-10 minute miles. He is about that weight. I'd say that your 8 minute mile is good! Time yourself all you want, just be careful and listen to your body. If it seems like you're pushing too hard, back off a little. I'm not a doctor, just a father who also runs.

One other thing: I'm not sure how you'd ever get an average, but my guess is that most 12 year olds can NOT run 2 miles, so you're doing well. On my son's Jr. High team, the best runners were probably about 6 minute miles, and the worst about 10.5 minute miles, but again, even the worst are doing better than most of their classmates!

well im 12 also and im less than 114 poundz n mi time in tha mile iz a 4:44( i no thatz 2 good 2 be true).im not a doctor but im a track runner. so if u r in tha condition im in your time should be at about 4 or 5:03 or may be a little bit more

well my daughter is 11 weighes 65 pounds and can jog a mile in 7:51

depends on how strong of a runner u are. If you have been training consistently, 8 is about right but if your just starting up try and hit about 10

well, if you are "jogging it" you shouldnt be timing yourself. you should only time yourself when you are racing or going full speed.
