I have been trying to gain weight so I can fit into my dress for homecoming. I weigh 80 lbs and i'm 14 and about 5' 2". I have been trying to eat more, but I have a very high metabolism. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can gain weight, but not gain too much?

don't eat a bunch of junk, please. just eat healthy, maybe a preotein shake in the morning and add some bread at mealtime...but don't go around stuffing doughnuts down your throat or bacon....think smart. you're beautiful when your healthy at any size.

Well first of all you can try to eat more carbohydrate. Such as bread or noodles, for the beard, eat 2 clices of white bread every meal. For lunch, you will have to eat yellow noodles. You can also try malay food as their food, are often fried and fattening. But do not eat too much other wise you will be over weight. and only to excercise for 15 minutes in 2 days. this will only make you sweat but not to burn your fats and carbo. if you have any idea what roti prata is, eat that it is very nice. may help you but dont eat too much.

I'm very much like you. after a meal it's burned off by the time i get to the car. the best thing that works for me is protein shacks. go to gnc and get 100% whey mix. you will want to try and do something athletic as to it will but on the weight if you follow the directions. good luck.

Wow! You're super thin! If you have teeny tiny bones (which I would suspect!) it's not resonable to expect to be bulky. Maybe you aren't supposed to be big! Just make sure you're eating healthy. It's better to be tiny and healthy than average with clogged arteries :-)

protein bars, and lift 5 pounder about 150+ time after each meal
