How many people use the Greengrocers instead of the Supermarket?

But apparently Greengrocers sell healthier stuff.

Yes, greengrocers, fishmongers (and often direct from fishermen if I can get there!) butchers, bakers plus a little healthfood shop which sells all the tinned stuff I might need plus herbs and spices in tiny little packs.

I am guilty of using the supermarket when Im pushed for time however, usually once a month, then I do top up shops locally.

I'm lucky, living 10 mins walk from the town centre of Hastings where all these quality local shops are.

Farmers market comes mid-week unfortunately and Im usually at work.

We don't have a greengrocer around here. So most of my shopping is done at a supermarket. I do have a good butcher shop and fishmonger close, so I try to use them whenever I can and support the indie shops.

I use small shops as much as possible, greengrocer, butcher, baker.

If they were held more often where I live I'd go even further and buy more than I can now from farmers markets.

I'd much rather see my money go to the producer than huge companies.

I do when I can and the qaulity is soooooooo much better...supermarket stuff is sooooo rank if you dont eat it on day u brought it

I don't use either regularly .. I just buy stuff when I need it from the nearest place
