Is it right for a public university to not accept Christian science curriculem like Beca or Bob Jones science?

as I understand it many Christian schools have much higher than average addmission to medical school.. Liberty UNiversisty to name one

so hows come the UNiversity of California System is putting the screws on home schools who use Christian Science curriculem? Nothing in medicine agriculture or technology even rests on evolution of any practical significance... only humanistic philosophy does

I love homeschooling. I was homeschooled and I plan to homeschool my children.

However, I've seen and used Abecka science texts. They actually teach that the earth was created in 7 days. They say that carbon dating is a conspiracy and that fossils are created in secret by scientists. I kid you not. Those texts are not scientific and to use them is to cripple a child.

HOWEVER, a parent should have the right to teach their children whatever they believe, no matter how stupid. IMO, anyway.

Why not apply to a Christian School of higher learning? You don't have to go to a public or state run school.

Understanding the priciples of cellular evoulution forms a theoretical framework for understanding how microbes acquire antibiotic resistance and even how cancer cells acquire resistance to chemotherapy agents. Many anatomic strucures are best understood by embryology in comparison to the jawless fish. Evolution creates a contextual framework for studying many structures. It can be overcome by rote memorization.

Because no matter how much you try to deny it, evolution is REAL. And it is a part of ALL Science/LIFE. Therfore you do not meet the REALISTIC requirements if you did not study it.

II think that's brilliant, it would worry me deeply to think that the people who are going to run the future world refuse to think critically and accept scientific truths.
