PS: If Hell is Real why would such a loving merciful God send us there to suffer for all eternity? When we(Humans) punish bad people the most we do is exicute them not tourture them, because it's considerd in-humain to prolong suffering like that to anyone. Are we more merciful than God?

Hell does NOT exist, but if it does, it sucks.

See 2 Peter 2:4 For God did not spare even the angels who sinned He threw them into hell in gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the day of judgment.

John 3:16 For God so LOVE the world (you) that He gave His only son that whosoever believes in Him should no PERISH but have everlasting life. You have the choice to choose right or wrong. The choice to choose Heaven or Hell so choose life, eternal life.

In historical Hebrew the word Sheol has been translated into the term hell. Is it a real place? The Bible says it is the grave, the placement of the lifeless. So i think hell is the place ever you discover lifeless human beings.

No there is not a hell.No where in the bible is there mentioning of a hell fire, although alot of people get the misconception that in the bible it says firey pit of sulphur, that IS NOT hell that just means the secound death, because god is going to have a judgement day where he judges all of us, and he will destroy forever the sinners ( we are all sinners but others are not sorry). So NO there is not a hell.

of course.hell is just as real as heaven.it is mentioned in revelation.and with the question about a merciful god sending people to hell ask yourself this question:how could humans fail to do what god asks of them which is to serve him.after he gave his life on the cross and suffered for us. after he allows us to wake up to see another day.after he blesses us continually.when he always comes through for us and always makes a way. god is so great.not just b/c of what he does but b/c of who he is.why can't we just obey his simple commands.they are easy but we make it hard.he only wants the best for us.have you really come to truly know his love for us b/c that was a really selfish question.hasn't he done enough? you reap what you sow.god gives chance after chance and people still disrespect him and sin against this great man.what more do you want.for him to let undeserving people into heaven?if that's the case he mind as well invite Satan back too.and the body dies but the spirit does not so it has no choice but to live in eternity.wherever

they say the idea of heaven and hell was made prominent around 1000 ad by the catholic church to control the people and enhance the will of the church. the papacy flourish from that and led to the spanish inquistion and a lot of people were burned at the stake from then on. in the name of god a nightmare of bloody hell was waged by the church to end all the sinning. it just hasn't worked so far. maybe it is time for another inquistion because i suspect there is more sin today than then.

there once existed a dump site outside the Holy city used to burn rubbish, this is where people were sent to pay a penalty for disobedience. This site existed prior to the birth of Jesus. The English translation of this town's name is hell. You believe in God one of two ways. 1) through Love and the other through Fear. Choose one. Personally I believe God loves his creations and is 'all forgiving'. Our mission is to become the perfect spirit, after all we are spirits living a human experience.

Jesus tought more frequently about eternal condemnation in the flames of Hell than He did about the rewards of everlasting life in Heaven. There are far too many references in the Bible to list them all here. The best is found in Revelation 20: 10-15

Hell is real and sinners go there; but if they repent, they are forgiven and will hopefully be admitted to paradise. God is very merciful, he doesn't want to torture anyone. There are many people that God will protect in the afterlife. It's humans who choose to act evil, and God warned, but no one listened. People who believe in one God won't be in Hell forever. They will eventually get out and be admitted to heaven.
