I deeply regret what I said to him. He said he was going to do something and he never did and so I wrote him a mean email and now I regret saying what I did. I actually told him that he was the king of unreliability and I told him he didn't have any integrity (ouch ouch ouch). I really like this guy and I didn't mean to hurt his feelings, but I was so upset that he didn't even call to apologize for not following up with me that, in anger, I went in for the kill. I feel like a horrible person and now he rightfully isn't speaking to me anymore (not returning my calls). If you were in his shoes, what could I say to make you believe I'm really sorry? I don't think a relationship is possible at this point and so I want him to know I don't expect him to "take me back" but I would like to take a stab at clearing the air and I hope to get at least a friendship out of it (but I know that's a stretch). Thanks.

you wrote: "I don't think a relationship is possible at this point and so I want him to know I don't expect him to "take me back" but I would like to take a stab at clearing the air and I hope to get at least a friendship out of it" - i think that's exactly what you should tell him. it sounds perfect and exact on what you want to express. apologize to him again. leave him those words in an email (which is kind of impersonal and could be an addition to why he's so mad: cause of what you did and how you did it). a cell phone message would be better. leave him a message saying how you feel, and then just give him some time. if he doesnt get back in a little while, call him one last time to see if he's over it or not. face to face would be the absolute best way though, if you have enough guts to do it. let's face it, it is hard. after trying everything i suggest moving on if he doesnt forgive you, no sense clinging after someone who doesnt want to have nothing to do with you.

I am the poster child for what you described. I have countless times experienced this with my x of 3 yrs. My advice is send the email and explain how sorry you are and how you hope you can reconcile or have a friendship. Then I would leave it at that. TRUST me I know you'll want to call or email but don't WAIT for him. If he doesn't respond or have enough balls to at least tell you what he thinks, then I would seriously move on and see if he comes around at some later point. If he doesn't, he wasn't worth your precious time anyways. Find someone who appreciates your honesty and worthiness's

when you have a problem like this one, then you shouldn't be calling him or emailing him to say that you are sorry. This problem can only be solved face to face. So find him and explain everything to him, say that you are really sorry and didn't mean what you said, that it was all because you were angry. People always make stupid mistakes when they are angry, so he should understand, and grl if he still won' talk to you, then just move on with your life. I hope this helps.

Send him another email explaining all of this and tell him that you said those things out of anger and disappointment. And if he can't forgive you then at least you apologized.

dont we do stupid things sometimes. hahahah

i think you have the right to be angry, considering he is very unreliable. on the other hand, he must have good reasons for being unreliable.

the best thing to do is apologize, from deep down your heart. if he accepts it, then he understands and wants to work things out - and be reliable. otherwise, its a sign that he's not the one for you.

i would suggest writing him an email asking for his forgiveness. tell him how sorry you are & how not cool that was of you. if he can't handle you when you are pissed, then he isn't the guy for you. seriously. you need a guy who can forgive you when you are at your worst.
