we cater to these people who care nothing about our country except for the money...we put them above our own people who are in need of assistance..we give them everything yet they have no respect for us..they won't learn our language which i believe is still English..they don't respect our culture ..they fly their flag above ours..not just mexicans or latins even though they are the majority..this is the UNITED STATES of AMERICA...my country ...your country...i am tired of being a minority in my homeland..if you don't like it ...leave it...go back to your land of no hopes and dreams and fix it...don't bring your desolation and destitution here to infect my AMERICA..

Oh we can stop it. The problem is while we are all out here arguing amongst ourselves about how bad bush is the Dems want the illegal votes and the repubs want the cheap labor and they make their back room deals. We the people get sold out along with our values, stability as a country and safety. If the gov't really wanted to stop it, it could be stopped in days. Militarize the border. Landmines, fences and machine guns. A handful may get through but 99.9% wouldn't. Once the border is sealed, law enforcement must begin a zero tolerance deprteing anyone illegal they catch. Business owners would have to face jail time and they'd stop hiring. The illegals would go home. After all they certainly aren't here to become americans and help this country grow. They are here to use and abuse and go home when they raise enough money. I have NO PROBLEM with legal immigrants who come here to live and make this country better and assimilate and become one with us, thereby enriching and enhancing our culture and identity. I have big problems with those who come like thieves in the night, abuse, pillage, steal and then have the cajones to protest when we try and assert some control.

its because the goverment officials lie about caring about the native people who were born here or who moved here legally. all these people who say we cant stop it are bold face liars. we can stop. thats why this country is a free country anymore. its full of illegal aliens and nazi politicians who are here to earn money and not to help what is in best intrest for this country and its people. they dont think about the future generations or anything. they care about corprate companies giving them money so they can go out and buy million dollar boats and houses. they want there own luxuries. ever since the end of the "60's revolution" this country has had there priorities all messed up. its no longer free. america is full of facist, racist, pigs. and people like LBJ and NIXON. thats why there needs to be a "new age revolution" to settle things straight and open up this countries eyes and let them see what life is truely like. all these immigrants coming over here to the "land of the free" are taking away our freedom and our jobs. the reason the goverments lets it happen is because its cheaper for them and in the end gives them more money and takes away more from the honest peopel who pay taxes so that they can give these people who dont get off there lazy asses food stamps. this whole country needs to awake. thats what i have to say about that. hope it answers your question.

Good question.... I fear that the answer is more complicated than just that the Democrats want votes or that the Republicans want cheap labor. But in any case I believe that it is time for the people of this country to demand an end to the problem from *both* parties. We *need* secure borders.

USCIS formerly known as the INS is all about money often the money they can pocket as we have learned recently from many multimillion dollar criminal organizations attached to immigration.

When I went to Ciudad Juarez and walked back across the border I noticed thousands of people crossing the border with border crossing cards but less than half that many going back to Mexico with these cards? A naturalized citizen who drives a bus in El Paso told me that when El Paso wants more workers immigration which is both in El Paso connected to the consulate in Ciudad Juarez hands out more border crossing cards. Most do not go back and they go to work somewhere in the U.S. A border crossing card is not a work permit it is a very inexpensive temporary tourism permit. So why put up a fence when the consulates who have been caught many times stealing from their own systems are letting them in whenever El Paso wants cheap labor?
When I crossed the bridge there were three lines 15 minutes long going out with border passes from Mexico and one short line with border passes coming back. My friend from Ciudad Juarez and the bus driver in El Paso said when El Paso needs more workers they issue temporary visiting passes such that they come over to work and often do not return they go elsewhere to work for more money as they get paid 25 a day to pick crops. People in Mexico who are undereducated get 25 dollars a week to work if they can find work. I know Mexicans and have been there. I know what they make here and there.

We allow it to continue because it cannot be stopped. Everyone can talk all day long and pass all kinds of laws, but sad fact of reality is it's been going on forever and will continue because noone can stop it. This isn't something new. What bugs me is the companies that employ them. That's the real problem. There is a ton of money to be made off these people, and we all know this country runs on money.

I feel your pain baby, I am also tired of these illegals taking so much advantage and giving nothing back and sending what they can back to their country. The gov't is afraid of enforceing the laws and they don't want to offend the bleeding hearts who might and might not place them in office, its a problem that seems to be getting worst, and I feel helpless sometimes , becasue some of my ideas, will ruffle many feathers, but the problem will still exist.

My sister, I hear you loud and clear.

I believe the government allows this hoping there will be a future payoff. Ex: If a million illegals come in and have 5 million LEGAL children. One day Maybe those 5 million will pay into a tax base. I think our tax dollars will be supporting those next 5 million. Maybe the next generation after will contribute something.

As long as our politicians give them amnesty and keep telling us the lies they do jobs "Americans won't do" and "they work harder than Americans"... they will keep coming.
I don't understand people who put illegals over citizens. I know that Bush wants a North American Union which includes the U.S., Canada and Mexico. I guess that's why nothing is being done. Maybe that's our future.
Sad.

Wow, how did the U.S. ever get by in the past without all this cheap Mexican labor? We did fine without 'em, we'll be better off without this massive migration. You always here this argument, " They do all the work you don't want to do, who else will clean your toilets?" and it's just a load of crap. You would've thought the Mexicans were on the Mayflower, cooking meals, mending the sails, etc they way the pro illegals carry on. SEND 'EM HOME!

The USA didn't get to be the great nation that it is today by letting anyone walk in and start living. The many many many many many many European immigrants that came through Ellis Island learned English and respected our culture, which is why they did so well.
