Most didn't condemn the killing, they condemned the mocking before the killing. I personally think Saddam took it like a man. I don't like the man but I like the style.

I do believe there are some people who think saddam to be a hero (NOT LIVING BECAUSE HE IS DIED) because there is and always will be STUPID PEOPLE.

The world leaders and religious leaders that condemned the Justice served to Saddam 1. didn't have a friend or relative killed by Saddam and 2. are liberal sissies. What about JUSTICE!!!

I think Saddam got it EASY!!! I think he deserved MUCH MUCH WORSE!!!!

No one can deny the late Saddam Hussein was a scum. But yes he did appear like a hero to many (e.g. Palestinians who received his support to fight against Zionism) during his execution, he stood tall with dignity when facing such a terrible punishment. The execution was not carried out appropriately and now there are people who feel remorse, not particularly for him... but the way how everything ended so abruptly. If he was continued to be put on trial, I think it would have been a good opportunity to educate the public about many things that he was responsible for. Now many people are just left hanging. Has justice really been served?

His Death proved nothing. The United States used him back when Reagan was President we supported him when he invaded Iran. When that conflict was over we never paid our debt owed to Iraq for this.
He then went into Kuwait because Oil fell at a lowest levels in years and we pushed him out.

We should have put our efforts against a lot more ruthless killers than him, like Kim in Korea etc. etc.

Most see it one way or the other. To some he was a hero. But to others he got is just reward, according to mans law. As a Christian. I myself don't believe in the death penalty. Because a persons soul is at stake. There are men, living on death row, who today, have given their heart to Jesus, and been forgiven their sins. They (Most) are remorseful for the wrong they have done.

Through Jesus God forgives all. However, sometimes the wrongs weve done is irreparable.

He was trash. As far as the world leaders and religious leaders take on it, well politicians will try to be politically correct most of the time that makes most of them liars. Like we didn't already know that.

Not necessarily. It was a Godsend to many Iraqis. The only people who may consider him a hero are is Baath party members and terrorists. I have talked to many, many Iraqis.....who were patiently waiting for that day to come.
