What of this...

Hell isn't "hell" at all, but the real "heaven." It is purposely given a portrayal of badness for the reason that only the truly good people without an agenda of getting into "heaven" actually get in. It's not an easy thing to obtain and naturally should not be so openly handed out. The ones that end up there are the truly good souls that had their goodness as top priority and sacrificed any care of where they end up for it.

In this way, the fake "heaven" (that really isn't "heaven," but not necessarily a "hell") is where all those with only an agenda of getting there end up. This is why it would be full of criminals that got in by believing.

Someone said it could be true.... Might it be?

I liked the question about the two doors. Behind the first door, is the heaven you were always told to expect. Behind the second door, is the heaven God had in mind for you, from the beginning.
Both are true and valid.
In the first heaven, there would be good people, as they always expected, but there will also be people that have paid "indulgences", to get in. (This is only an example, I am not meaning to insult anyone). There might be people there who have cheated the Justice System, and got away with murder, and the Lawyers, that defended them. Maybe Dictators too.
Hey - Isn't that a lot like earth?)

I ask that you should refine one statement.
"that only the truly good people without an agenda" get into your real heaven (ie the believers hell).
Why should goodness and closeness to God be related? Are you saying good people are far from God, ie those without an agenda.
Please, just consider using believers and non-believers/doubters, as goodness has little to do with belief in God. Actually, morality does not appear to have much to do with belief in God either.
Im saying there are both good and bad christians, muslims, fifth-day advent hoppists, athiests, agnostics, pastafarians, etc.

Now, for believers, heaven could be defined as closeness to God. But fine, i like your overall concept, that for some people the theist heaven DOES sound like the place they least want to be after they die (maybe even upto the standards of how a believer would disfavor going to hell). Rather than 'real heaven', why not come up with a different name for a place to go without the abundance of religious zealots and televangelists, like 'europe'?

Oh, after death?
Well then, non-sentience, with a corpse blending into a patch of earth, giving food for worms. I suggest in EUROPE.

:)
RAmen.

whoever came up with this was bored and has a great imagination. sounds like the start of a movie. somebody should do it. i think a movie on this subject would make a lot of money. i think it is false though but would be entertaining.

What if people made their own heaven and hell on earth?

Heaven and hell are symbolic. Heaven is nearness to God and hell is remoteness from God.

You are confused.

It seems you are confused by choice.

It's alot easier to just understand the truth rather than try to invent a "what if" lie.
