I don't have the privacy to watch an excercising video or anything, so that's out. And your answers better not be anything stupid like "WHY!?!?!"

I don't want to walk outside because I dunno where, other people will be looking at me probably especially if I jog, etc.

And I have no excercising equipment and if i go to the community center thing or whatever it's called that my mom signed the family up to for excercising, i'll be the only one around my age there. obviously.

I'll be editing this question probably, especially when people answer with something obvious.

If you're answering just for points, at least make that answer something worthwhile and useful.

Sorry, but I said I don't want to go to the gym because i'll be the only one around my age there most likely. Usually adults go there. No kids.. Don't ask for my age either.

Ok, you don't want to walk outside (I don't jog so I've got no thoughts on that anyways) and you don't have the ability to watch a video, you don't want to go the the center because you assume it's all adults (if the center is a small community you might want to stop by and check to see if there's ever a time when no one uses it, ours gets some use but there's afternoons when its empty and no ones around, my preference) It seems like you are trying not to let anyone know what you're doing which is sort of tough

I would think you're only left with finding a place in your home and creating a routine for yourself. Make a chart from exercises you do know, or things you find in magazines and books. There are also "hidden exercises" like when you're on the phone ... don't sit down do standing leg lifts or swing them. If you know how to tighten you stomach muscles do that as you walk (can be done anywhere any time ... hold for a count then release and repeat. same thing goes for butt muscles ... maybe while brushing teeth .. The ball is a good idea ... just sitting on them and balancing uses muscles so you can use it like a chair in front of the computer. It's hard to try to exercise if you're going to put in so many boundaries but you'll have to start somewhere and get used to the idea. When I was about 14/15 my mother joined us up for Lucille Roberts (women only workout) I wasn't really happy going there since it was mostly women ... the thing I dreaded most was that she always wanted us to go into the pool ... this is where the oldest people hung out for water aerobics and I sooooo hated the idea ... but after a while you just have to get past that and know that what you're trying to do is good for you and when you get better and more at ease you can start to add to what you do. Good luck and happy health to you.

Sorry for the "why" question, but why does it bother you so much to be seen exercising? Are you shy generally, or is it specific to exercise? As far as the community center thing, and I'm assuming you are an adolescent, don't worry about not finding peers. I just joined my local Y after my gym went bankrupt, and there were lots of teens there, in the weight/cardio room, in the pools, all over.

I tend to feel a bit uncomfortable in new environments and other places where I don't know many people. But, I just gut it out, and eventually I feel more comfortable. Look to the end result--a healthier and trimmer you. Good luck!

I'll assume you have somewhere to be private.

Turn on a radio or a TV or something. Look at the clock.

For a total of 1/2 hour each day, do

sit ups
some variant of push ups
toe touches
side bends
trunk twists
jumping jacks
any kind of yoga
running in place
jumping in place
hopping on one foot
hopping on the other foot
trying to touch the ceiling
stretching
knee bends
lunges
squat thrusts
see how many times you can lie down on the floor and stand
up in 2 minutes

find something that is difficult for you to do. practice a
few each day. keep a written record to follow how
you progress each day...and you will. Give
yourself at least 8 weeks of doing it each day
and then review. come up with your own exercises
that are fun but difficult. Have fun watching them become
easier. Practice juggling.

find a friend that would like to practice with you once you
get the hang of it.

make it a ritual to do whenever a certain show is on the radio
or tv.

Do you have the privacy of your own bedroom? I would buy an exercise ball (around $7), and use that to sit on while your on the computer or anytime you want to sit. It helps your balance and works your legs while you sit. You can also use it in your room for a variety of exercises - including cruches. When you buy the ball it comes with many different positions you can try for it.

You can also use cans of soup for weights, if you'd like to start lifting weights. Maybe this is something you could do in your bedroom, that people wouldn't suspect that that is what you are doing.
